Sweden playing cards
Named characters from Swedish history.
Twelve different figures from Swedish history are depicted on the double-ended court cards of this pack. They include Gustav Vasa, Carl Linnaeus and Alfred Nobel. The designs have been executed in Piatnik’s traditional house style for double packs with non-standard courts. Various heraldic shields and coats of arms are displayed on the reverse against either a blue or a red background, with the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Sweden in the centre. On the box lid is a mention in Swedish that the pack has been printed with permission from the Office of the Marshal of the Realm and the Swedish Patent and Registration Office.
